ABSTRACT

Urinary lithiasis is one fo the most frequent disorder of the urinary tract, predominant in males and in their formation are involucrate many factors such as age, inheritance, diet, scant ingestion of fluids and sedentarity. Extracorporeal lithotripsy has become the method of choice for urinary lithiasis. The objective of this report is to present the author's experience with the treatment of urinary lithiasis using extracorporeal wave lithotripsy. From 1997 through 2005 we have treated 1456 patients suffering renouretheral lithiasis with our equipment Triper compac. Successful results were obtained in 96 por ciento in interior uretheral calculi, 94 por ciento for medial calculi and 96 por ciento for upper calculi. Purpose: to analyze the different aspects of urinary fistulas. Design: retrospective observational clinical study. Methods: we evaluated 50 cases comparing different aspectis as etiology, incidence, diagnosis, treatment and success rate... This study demonstrates the high rate of successful closure of the urinary fistula, but highlight the knowledge that we should have of the incidence, etiology, diagnosis and treatment of this urological problem

ABSTRACT

Presentamos dos casos observados en nuestro Servicio de portadores de la Enfermedad de Bourneville o Esclerosis Tuberosa con manifestación renal. Actualizamos las implicancias médico-asistenciales de este infrecuente síndrome. Revisamos nuestra experiencia frente a los angiomiolipomas renales en sus distintas variables, los métodos de diagnóstico, sus constantes imagenológicas, su tratamiento actual y la conducta seguida por nosotros. Efectuamos una revisión bibliográfica nacional e internacional sobre el tema
